Traditional Spice Blend - Droëwors
Our Droëwors is 100% Beef, we do not mix our Beef with any other meat in our Droëwors. Typically, it’s mixed with Venison meats like wild Buck.
We use exactly the same Beef in our Droëwors as we do with our steaks - Premium Australian Black Angus Beef - 100% Grass-fed.
We use natural sausage casings (Lamb) and dry our Droëwors out fully - so you should get a snap and tear when you bite and a chewy burst of flavour.
Droëwors last for ages, it’s ideal for snacks, post sports - forgetting in your kit and finding it 4 months later while on a hike ;-) etc...
The Traditional Spice Blend is a simple combination of spices steeped in tradition and intimately part of South African history.
On the African continent, You’ll often find this applied to more than just Beef! Our favourites include: Kudu, Springbok (ya no probs eating the National animal - this is Africa) and a good few other meats in between.
Ingredients:
Our blend consists of a combination of: Freshly ground Black Pepper, Coriander and Salt - just Salt, not Rock Salt from the Himalayan highest mountains or vegetable salt or Kenyan Marathoner Salt - no, just salt. NaCl.
All Spice blends are prepared FRESH per batch.
